Project Description

This project established a new road and rail intermodal terminal in Bell Bay.

Benefits

This project allows freight to move between road and rail more efficiently, and provide additional log and container freight storage within the Bell Bay industrial precinct.

Funding

The Australian Government funded 80 per cent of this project, capped at $5.2 million.

Timetable

Works commenced on the new intermodal terminal in October 2014 and were completed in June 2015.
