The bridge has a timber deck that no longer complies with the requirements of todays traffic demand. The bridge has missing wooden guard rails. ** WA Special Bridge Program **
Repair bridge, upgrade barriers and approach slabs and construct reinforced concrete overlay
Remove existing bridge decking and replace with 1300mm of reinforced concrete overlay to a length 33.15m and 8.20m in width.
Replace the existing wooden guard rails and design the overlay for use by heavy vehicles (Class T44).
