Bruxner Bridge is a 3 span bridge located over the Logan River on Tamrookum Church Road, which links Christmas Creek Road with the Mount Lindesay Highway. The majority of the timber structure has reached the end of its service life and requires replacement. The structure is over 50 years old and currently has a 3 tonne load limit. Based on recent deterioration rate it is expected the bridge will require closing within 12 months.
Design and construction of a replacement structure. The structure will comply with the current Australian Standard AS5100 Bridge Design and the Austroad Guide to Bridge Design.
Total cost of proposed project is $870,000
