Due to increased usage of heavy vehicles and bridge's metal construction failings, the load limit had to be dramatically reduced from 44 tonne to 9 tonne in the recent year. The current timber bridge will require full replacement and the deck span will need a central concrete pillar to be installed to carry the new deck weight.
Full replacement of timber bridge with precast concrete construction with a central pillar.
Total cost of proposed project is $313,576
