The project will upgrade the intersection of the Huon Highway and Summerleas Road.
The project will improve safety and travel times along the Huon Highway.
The estimated cost of the project is $21.875 million. The Australian Government is contributing $17.5 million and the Tasmanian Government $4.375 million.
Construction commenced in February 2017 and is expected to be completed in mid 2018.
