Existing dirt road is subject to severe erosion during rain events due to slope and position of road relative to rocky ground causing run off. When dry the road creates a dust nuisance and exacerbates the erosion issue. The existing gate arrangement creates problems with domestic and feral animals entering the community compound and creates a hazard to drivers to keep animals out of the compound.
Uranyi Road compacting of road base 5 metres wide and application of 4 metre wide two coat seal of 14mm then 7mm imported sealing agreegate. Supply and install a new cattle stop grate 4.2 metres wide at fence line. 800 metres of existing dirt road to be sealed from the intersection of Awi Urtu Vambata Road towards community boundary in a northerly direction.
Total cost of proposed project is $100,796
