A level 3 inspection of the bridge has identified a number of major defects.The most economical way to rectify the defects is to replace the bridge with box culverts
Replace the existing timber bridge with reinforced concrete box culverts to match the waterway of the existing bridge and realign road approaches to the new culvert to match up to new structue at similar levels to the existing structure.
Total cost of proposed project is $600,000
