The timber girders which support the 30m long steel deck with an asphalt running surface are in poor condition due to age, water damage and some infestion from white ants.
Proposed works include the removal of the existing timber girders and steel deck and replace with concrete interlocking girders, a concrete deck and undertake some minor roadway approach work.
Total cost of proposed project is $900,000
