Road pavement shows significant areas of failure, including shoving, cracking and potholing. Kerb and channel has displaced and holds water in some places. High maintenance costs associated with ongoing inspection and repair. Road safety associated with potholed and shoved pavement.
Road reconstruction, including removal and replacement to 400mm depth of existing failed pavement, subgrade replacement as required, removal and replacement of approximately 500 m of kerb and channel, remove and replace associated concrete driveway and footpath pavement to match new kerb where required. Reconnect house drain connections and reset stormwater inlet pits to match new kerb. Install new stormwater drains and inlet pits. Prepare and place initial 7mm stone seal and 40mm hotmix final seal approximately 5000 sqm. Repaint linemarking.
Total cost of proposed project is $580,000
