The existing stormwater pipeline on Jack Street stops at the intersection with Main Street. At time of heavy rainfall the intersection is unsafe for vehicles and pedestrians due to flooding created by the lack of adequate stormwater infrastructure to accommodate the stormwater flows in the Jack Street area.
The proposed works include the installation of grated stormwater inlet pits, new kerb and channel and the extension of underground stormwater pipes to Prior Creek.
Total cost of proposed project is $598,000
