Project Description

The project scope is to construct a bridge over Rocky Bottom Creek to improve the flood immunity of the crossing, and to realign bridge approaches as required.

Benefits

The project will improve flood immunity, safety and reliability, increase the efficiency of freight movements, and improve the productivity of freight corridors.

Funding

The Australian Government has contributed $6 million towards this project.

Timetable

Construction commenced in January 2016, and was completed in September 2016.
