The project involves raising of road embankments and upgrades to various flood ways and crossings through the Moyle River floodplain.
The project will improve flood immunity, safety and reliability; increase efficiency of freight movements, and improve productivity of the freight corridors.
The Australian Government contributed $15.5 million towards this project.
Construction commenced in late-2014, and was completed in August 2016.
