The project will widen and strengthen approximately 14 kilometres of the Condah-Hotspur Upper Road and upgrade the Crawford River Bridge.
The project will improve freight efficiency for heavy vehicles and improve safety.
The total cost of the project is $5.996 million. The Australian Government is contributing $2.5 million with the Victorian Government, Glenelg Shire Council and industry contributing the balance.
Construction commenced in January 2016 and is expected to be complete in late 2017.
