Project Description

Construction of a bypass of Scone.

Benefits

Improvement of freight productivity and safety on the New England Highway and resolution of the disconnection of the town during rail movements which cause closure of the rail level crossings.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $65 million towards this project.

Timetable

The project is expected to commence in mid-2018 and be completed by late 2020.
