The centre of the road surface has commenced cracking and the old seal has oxidised due to age. Council has also widened sections of this pavement which has only had an initial seal. The road surface requires resealing to rejuvenate the seal and continue protecting the pavement.
The work involved resealing 2.15 km of Orara Way with a bitumen reseal using 14 mm aggregate. The reseal width is approximately 7m wide.
Total cost of proposed project is $78,221
