Project Description

The project provided a new left turn lane at Terang-Mortlake Road and a new right turn lane at Old Peterborough Road.


The project has improved the movement of heavy vehicles in Terang by replacing the previous heavy vehicle route on Cobden-Terang Road with a new heavy vehicle route on Old Peterborough Road. This has improved local amenity and safety.


The cost of the project was $1.02 million. The Australian Government contributed $765,000 and the Victorian Government $255,000.


Construction commenced on 19 February 2015 and was completed on 9 June 2015.
