Base and seal reached end of useful life and showing signs of fatigue. Evidence of extensive rutting and crocodile cracking. Racecourse Road is a key heavy vehicle route and the current treatment is not sufficient.
Reconstruct by recycle insitu and remixing of existing base material to nominal depth of 200mm. Reseal of 50mm modified binder asphalt overlay to suit heavy vehicle movements. Linemarking once complete.
Total cost of proposed project is $910,000
