Sceale Bay Road carries heavy tourist traffic, heavy vehicles and vehicles with boats for the local abalone divers and the existing road surface becomes loose and dusty between mid-spring through summer to mid-autumn. There is also reduced sight as a result of undulations.
Work in previous years has prepared the road for final sealing. The proposed work includes sealing the final 6 kilometres of Sceale Bay Road.
Total cost of proposed project is $3,783,000
