Current main triple road train access road servicing the Port Heavy Industrial Area, which suffers from inadequate road width, pavement failure, deformation and severe seal loss due to stripping mainly due to the poor quality of original construction.
The rehabilitation project will include widening to 9m, upgrade of pavement thickness and strength using in situ and imported base course material and application of a 3 coat seal as a minimum with possible asphalt also required on intersections.
Total cost of proposed project is $1,427,762
