Project DescriptionSome sections of this road have been re-sheeted in the past ten years however these are starting to blowout in places, as maintenance grading cuts away the depth of sheeting. The areas of road that have not been re-sheeted are not responding to maintenance grading as the sub grade has broken through to the native sands below and have become dangerous.
Between SLK 0 and 40, there will be 2.5 km of road that gets Ripped, Rotary-Hoed, then Rolled, over 1.5km of road that is reformed and nearly 15km of road that receives re-sheeting – or more depending on remaining funds.
Total cost of proposed project is $243,031 |
