Progressive sealing of this road with increasing widths of seals has left this road as a patchwork of wide, narrow and very narrow segments. The first narrow segments sealed included several bends which pose a risk to motorists, as evidenced by 2 crashes on bends in recent years.
Rip, construct new pavement and seal, including widening to route standard 7.2m wide seal, of the 2 segments incorporating the bends where crashes have been recorded.
Total cost of proposed project is $807,508
