Inkerman Street is an Urban Link road where the existing sealed road pavement, which is 440 metres long by 12.5 metres wide between kerbs, has failed. The road surface is rutted and heaved and has deteriorated to a point requiring renewal.
The existing pavement is to be removed, between the existing kerbs and replaced with a new 400mm deep pavement and the road asphalt sealed to provide a level safe surface in the urban environment. Some kerb renewal works will be undertaken to provide better road drainage.
Total cost of proposed project is $1,220,000
