Project Description

The project involves the construction of two dual-lane roundabouts on Station Road at the intersection at each of the Calder Freeway access ramps at Gisborne/New Gisborne, Victoria.

Benefits

The two roundabouts will significantly improve and provide safer access onto and off the Calder Freeway.

Funding

The estimated cost of the project is $6.65 million. The Australian Government is contributing $4.99 million and the Victorian Government $1.66 million.

Timetable

Construction commenced in March 2016 and the project is expected to be completed mid 2017.
