These sections have inferior subgrade and have suffered extensive deformation and cracking as a result of increased heavy vehicle movements and rainfall.
Reconstruct road by excavating unsuitable material, adding suitable crushed gravel, stabilise road, grade and roll to desired shape and compaction, followed by bitumen seal. Clear culvert, mitres, tabledrains and reinstate missing guide posts. An asphalt overlay will also be applied at the intersections with Canola Way and access to grain terminal.
Total cost of proposed project is $156,185
