This is one of the 15 projects being delivered as part of the Australian Government's $508 million commitment to the Warrego Highway - Toowoomba to Miles - Upgrade Programme.
This project will consist of the construction up to seven overtaking lanes between Dalby and Miles.
The project will improve safety and capacity at this location, on the Warrego Highway.
The Australian Government is providing up to $28 million to the project in partnership with the Queensland Government.
Construction is expected to commence late 2017 and be completed by mid 2018.
