Project Description

This is one of the 15 projects being delivered as part of the Australian Government's $508 million commitment to the Warrego Highway - Toowoomba to Miles - Upgrade Programme.

This project will upgrade the infrastructure between the Winton and Moonie Highway intersection, providing additinal lanes, a new set of traffic and pedestrian signals and pavement strengthening operations.

Benefits

The project will improve safety and freight efficeincy at the Eastern approach to the town of Dalby, on the Warrego Highway.

Funding

The Australian Government is providing up to $45 million to the project in partnership with the Queensland Government.

Timetable

Construction commenced in August 2017 and is expected to be completed by late 2018.
