This is one of the 15 projects being delivered as part of the Australian Government's $508 million commitment to the Warrego Highway - Toowoomba to Miles - Upgrade Programme.
The project involves pavement strengthening and renewal of 16km of failing pavement between Drillham and Palardo.
The project will improve safety and capacity at this location, on the Warrego Highway.
The Australian Government is providing up to $8,800,000 to the project in partnership with the Queensland Government.
Construction is expected to commence early 2018 and be completed in mid 2019.
