Project Description

This is one of the 18 projects being delivered as part of the Australian Government's $508 million commitment to the Warrego Highway Upgrade Program.

This project involves planning for the final stage of Toowoomba to Oakey duplication, following Stages 1 and 2.


The project will complete planning for the project to improve safety and capacity at this location.


The Australian Government is providing up to $1.6 million to the project in partnership with the Queensland Government.


Business Case completion expected in mid 2018.
