This is one of the 18 projects being delivered as part of the Australian Government's $508 million commitment to the Warrego Highway Upgrade Program.
This project involved upgrading the intersection of the Warrego Highway and Jondaryan - Sabine Road.
The project will improve safety and network efficiency at the intersection.
The Australian Government committed to provide 80 per cent up to $4.8 million towards the estimated $6 million cost of Acland Intersection Upgrade in partnership with the Queensland Government.
As the project was delivered under budget for $3.8 million, the final Australian Government contribution was $3.04 million.
Construction commenced in October 2016 and was completed in January 2017.
