The targeted section of road is low lying and requires forming and sheeting to get above natural surface level. The existing road material is marginal and turns to bulldust in summer and becomes very slippery after moderate rainfall.
The work will involve forming and sheeting of targeted sections with crushed rocks. Sheeting will be 150mm – 200mm in depth with 23m formation having a carriageway width of 9 metres and table drains on each side of the road.
