The proposed section has the following defects: extensive ravelling of the existing asphalt surfacing and oxidation due to the age and weathering of the asphalt surface. The surface has moderate failures.
Asphalt Resurfacing: Profile edges to key-in with the concrete kerb and channel; waterproofing and crack alleviation bitumen sprayed seal; and 50mm thick Dense Graded Asphalt Overlay (using 14mm nominal size aggregate).
Total cost of proposed project is $745,224
