Road is too narrow for the current traffic volumes. There is no formal footway and parking is haphazard. That has generated numerous public complaints about safety issues. This is the final stage of upgrading for Dover Road.
Widen the pavement area to 8 metres wide over 130 metres length.Provide footpath & kerb & gutter on the northern side. Construct parking pads on the southern side. Stormwater drainage. Re-grade intersection at Rysdyk Parade and several property accesses. Retaining walling where applicable.
Total cost of proposed project is $700,000
