The road base no longer exists, with significant seal blow outs, sand dunes are encroaching the road, is full of pot holes and sand/dust, and poor drainage. The project will improve all weather access in the Numbulwar CBD, improve drainage and control localized flooding.
Install retaining wall works to prevent sand dunes encroaching the road will include remove access material and prepare surface, supply and install retaining wall, and backfill with sand.
Earthworks to include reform road 100 x 6 metres wide, and install drain.
Sealing works to include preparation of pavement, prime coat at 1.2L/m2, first seal coat at 1.6 L/m2, second seal coat at 1.2 L/m2, and supply and aplication of aggregate.
