Project Description

The project will rehabilitate approximately 700 metres of pavement on Old Dookie Road between Mitchell Street and Doyles Road in Shepparton. The project will also remove the existing roundabout and signalise the intersection at New Dookie Road and Verney Road in Shepparton.

Benefits

The project is expected to improve safety and heavy vehicle productivity, reduce traffic congestion and improve local amenity.

Funding

The estimated cost of the project is $3,894,787. The Australian Government is contributing $2.25 million and Greater Shepparton City Council $1,644,787.

Timetable

Construction is expected to commence in early 2017 and be completed in mid 2018.
