Project Description

Existing surface course oxidised and little stone remaining in the seal. Lime leachate visible at the surface, with seepage water causing pavement cracking. Narrow road shoulders, vegetation intrusion in to the existing shoulders.

Full width road construction including lane widening, shoulder reconstruction and vegetation trimming. Pavement rehabilitation works over 5700 sq.m of pavement area. Work include 150mm thick cement stabilised base course and application of two coat bitumen seal using 14mm/10mm aggregates. Extended scope to include sealed shoulders and provision of cycleway.
