Caroona Road is in extremely poor standard with a rough driving surface including significant shape failures.
Increase usage has caused vehicles to damage the existing sealed pavement and vehicles have been running off road due to narrow road width.
Widen the sealed roadway to 8.0m (approx. 1.2m either side) and provide constructed shoulders to up to 2.0 metres.
Included in this work will be an Asphalt overlay of the existing roadway, including crack sealing and edge treatment under the new asphalt layer.
Total cost of proposed project is $687,000
