The existing condition of the road has been rated as very poor. Based on road condition being inadequate for the traffic volumes and heavy vehicle use during harvest and access to the Jimbour Quarry the above sections of Jimbour Station Road has been scheduled for reconstruction
Reconstructing a rural collector road to Councils current standards from chainage 5.18 to 6.18km and 311.84 to 12.308km. Taking the road from a substandard 5.5m bitumen seal road with a poor condition rating to a 6m wide bitumen seal with a 8m formation and 8m wide bitumen seal in the floodways.
Total cost of proposed project is $500,000
