Narrow pavement (approximately 5 metres). Lack of suitable sight distance and pavement scoured by Hunter River.
Widening of road by excavation and blasting of rock. Construction of new pavement on new alignment. Stabilisation of river bank. Length of road to be upgraded 49.8km to 50.3km x 9m formation. Total seal area 4000m2
Total cost of proposed project is $860,000
