This portion of Frogmore Road has been identified for work as it is currently narrow, with dilapidated pavement and wearing surface with sharp edge drop offs and very tight blind bends. There are several large trees within the road shoulder clear zone making for significant roadside hazards in this section as well as lifting the road pavement in areas where roots have run across the road. There are several culverts which will require wideningas the head walls are positioned in areas narrowing the road way.
The formation will be widened and pavement strengthened with additional road base. Culverts will be widened and localised hazards will be removed. Realignment of tight bends with removal of trees in the clear zone will improve driver safety and visibility.
Total cost of proposed project is $375,220
