Project Description

In 2014, the City received a request from Bourke Street Public School (BSPS) seeking support for a Shared Zone in Mort Street, Surry Hills. The school raised concerns that existing footpaths in Mort Street are narrow and restrict the movement of parents and children causing them to walk on the road.

Shared zone in Mort Street, Surry Hills. The works include mill down road surface by 40mm and resheet with 40mm AC10 stencilled asphalt along with other associated works.
