The unsealed pavement has poor drainage and an inadequate base course that is clay based. The slippery, corrugated surface provides and unsafe carriageway.
It is proposed to sheet the pavement with new roadbase to a depth of 200mm, waterbind and roll to achieve a 6 metre wide carriageway and also to construct spoon drains and two 375mm culverts to improve drainage.
Total cost of proposed project is $35,872
