The proposed sections have the following defects: moderate crocodile cracking, heavy patching, ravelling, oxidation and weathering due to the age of the existing surface. The surface of the road has moderate failures (for example, potholes and patches).
Asphalt Resurfacing: Profile edges to key-in with the concrete kerb and channel; waterproofing and crack alleviation bitumen sprayed seal; and 50mm thick Dense Graded Asphalt Overlay (using 14mm nominal size aggregate).
Total cost of proposed project is $298,209
