The road surface has aged and failed in places and requires widening and kerb & channel to finalize formal construction.
Asphalt resheet of the road surface and reconstruction of failed areas of pavement along with widening of pavement,inclusion of Kerb & Channel and rehabilitation of indented bus-bay, including minor drainage improvements. Length of Karoo Road being considered is approximately 630 metres in length with pavement width varying from 6.4 metres for approximately 255 metres and transitioning to 10.05 metres for approximately 330 metres.
Total cost of proposed project is $850,000
