The existing pavement width is between 5.5 metres and 6.0 metres with narrow shoulders and does not conform to the requirements of the Shire's Road Hierarchy. Sections have significant rutting and incorrect cross falls resulting in weater settling in wheel paths and/or the centre of the road. No formed table drains exist.
Where necessary, lengthen exiting culverts so that they are wide enough to allow construction of the road to the design width. replace sub standard culverts. Place or replace culverts on road intersections (as necessary). Form road formation to 8 metres in width. Import, spread and compact 150 milimetres of compacted gravel. Place six metre wide spray seal. Place guideposts and linemarking as per appropriate guidelines and Standards
Total cost of proposed project is $458,936
