Project DescriptionSingle lane concrete causeway has developed lateral cracks above two (2) concrete pipes, the causeway also tends to wash out either end of the concrete slab when the creek rises.
Council intends to lengthen existing concrete causeway by 15 metres on both approaches to get it above top water level (TWL) at full flow. These extensions will incorporate cut-off walls to a depth of 1 metre on both sides of the extensions. A new slab will be poured over the existing slab to a depth 200mm and tied in to existing slab using starter bars. Both approaches will be reconstructed to suit new levels. |
