The road is potholed, and has poor drainage and tourist vehicles can not travel on this road when there is wet conditions. It becomes unsafe for large vehicles as well during wet weather. There is not enough rubble on the road to fix the problem.
The road will be surveyed and a design to National sealed rural roads standard. It will then have rubble laid on it and graded and rolled and a 14mm seal and a second coat of seal being 7mm will be applied
Total cost of proposed project is $396,825
