The road is unsealed and is a safety concern during harvest, due to geometric and surface deficiencies that do not meet the defined criteria for this road function.
Works proposed include construction and sealing of 7.5 kilometres of Balumbah-Kinnard Road which will provide 2 x 3.5 metre lanes and 0.5 metres of sealed shoulder.
Total cost of proposed project is $2,220,000
