The current pavement is failingwith large areas of cracking and pot holes. The seal is narrow and unsafe for freight and tourist traffic.
Works will include the realingment and reconstruction of the existing 5.8 metre wide sealed pavement to 9 metres wide with a 7 metre bitumen seal. The stormwater drainage infrastructure will also be replaced.
Total cost of proposed project is $830,000
