Reconstruction and rehabilitation of 700 metres of Park Street and Durham Road in East Gresford, drainage works, kerb and gutter, service relocations, traffic calming measures and linemarking.
The improved drainage in conjunction with improved cross-falls and road surfacing will provide better conditions for all motorists in wet and dry conditions. Localised traffic calming and improved delineation will assist in the provision of a safer shared environment for drivers and pedestrians in East Gresford.
Dungong Shire Council is contributing $50,000 towards the project. The Australian Government is contributing $1 million to the project.
Construction was completed in November 2017.
