Project Description

The project will construct a roundabout at the junction of Westbury Road and the Bass Highway access road to replace the existing T-intersection. The project will also construct two additional access roads adjoining the roundabout.

Benefits

The project will reduce the frequency of crashes and deliver travel time savings at the junction of Westbury Road and the Bass Highway access Road.

Funding

The estimated cost of the project is $2,359,000. The Australian Government will contribute $400,000.

Timetable

Construction is expected to commence in September 2018 and be completed April 2019.
